Local Regulations

In addition to legal responsibilities, the following regulations apply to the users of the DP laboratory: 

No food is allowed in the laboratory. Drinks are ok.

Users have access to the machines in the following order of priority:

  1. DP lab administrators
  2. Guest researchers
  3. DP unit members (faculty, Ph.D. students, student programmers)
  4. DAT7/DAT8 students
  5. DAT5/DAT6/F9S/F10S/KDE3/KDE4 students
  6. DAT4/F8S/KDE2 students

A user can only use a particular machine for 4 hours per day if other users (also lower-prioritized) want access to that machine.

If a user leaves a computer for more than 10 minutes, the user must log out first.
