Database and Programming Technologies Laboratory

Business Intelligence and Mobile Information Management

The Database and Programming Technologies (DP) lab supports the core-research activities of the DP unit. The lab enables all interested students and researchers in the department to work with state-of-the-art Business Intelligence (BI) tools, and to test and experiment with their own ideas and tools in an appropriate environment, e.g., using realistic data sets. The lab will also facilitate and aid in development, prototyping, and experimentation with new research ideas related to mobile information management (MIM). Finally, the lab supports the development of visual data mining (VDM) tools.

The DP laboratory is located in room E4-203. A Getting Started page provides information on access to the laboratory.
